Dan Timotic, CFA

Managing Principal & Portfolio Manager

Prior to founding T2 Asset Management, Dan held various positions at some of the largest investment firms in the country as a trader, portfolio manager, and strategist. With over 20 years of professional experience, he has managed billions of dollars for institutions, endowments, foundations, pension plans and individuals.

Dan received his MBA in Finance from DePaul University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of CFA Institute as well as CFA Society of Chicago.

I provide comprehensive asset management to advisors and affluent families with a focus on fundamental, low-cost investment strategies that are used by large institutional investors. As a fiduciary, my responsibility is to serve in the best interest of my clients, and only my clients.

EXPERTISE: Less than 1% of all financial advisors hold a CFA charter. Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) are highly prized by institutional money managers as investment analysts and strategists. Working with a CFA charterholder brings those same institutional skills to individuals and families.

DISCIPLINE: We believe in the fundamental principles of strong diversification, low-cost investing, and the idea that markets are best navigated with the avoidance of large losses. Managing risk is at the center of what we do for clients in order to preserve gains and minimize losses.

INDEPENDENCE: As an independent investment advisor, we are not influenced by product sales or corporate ties. As a fiduciary, our responsibility is to serve in the best interest of our clients and only our clients.
